The black lines in this unique piece of pottery are created by applying horse hair to the piece before firing.  It is naturally porous and is not waterproof, but makes an ideal storage vessel for dry goods such as coffee, tea, and sugar.  Measures 3 5/8" in diameter x 5 1/8" h.
